For the first time ever, there's a chance my sister and I will go head to head with comparable pumpkins at the same weigh off. I'll load Gravy Boat the last day of August and drive 1,000 miles east to pick up Teal and Princess Donut, then it's another 400 miles to the Woodstock Fair in Connecticut! Gravy taped 715 this morning and Donut taped 705, but Donut will have two extra days to grow. Gravy is facing an alarming sag line (Will it split? Will it lift!??) and Donut is fighting vine rot issues. Fingers crossed!!!
