Growth rate and splits have nothing to do with each other if optimum conditions are achieved and maintained.
3000 lb growth rates have been historically achieved but not maintained. It's just a matter of time before someone maintains those growth rates. It wont be 3000, it will be 3500+.
One more time, it's not growth rates that cause splits. It's just the plant not being able to maintain the growth. More water, more nutrients, more sunlight. It has to be steady. Sudden start and stop, boom.
Not easy to achieve. We keep trying.
