Today was harvest day in preparation for our weigh off tomorrow. Things took an unexpected turn when getting ready to load the pumpkin on the trailer. My tripod could have easily lifted the pumpkin but sitting on cement was just too risky with the legs wanting to spread apart. Even though I had a rope to keep the legs from spreading it just wasn't worth the risk with this pumpkin so my pumpkin took flight in the friendly skies, up over the trees and into the trailer. What a sight to behold. Neighbors from all over formed a audience and everyone cheered as the pumpkin safely landed in the trailer. I had no idea this is how the day would turn out but it sure was fun for everyone to watch.
