The green monster had a bit of rot on her blossom end a week ago. Cleaned the rot out, treated w daconil and she has been puuting on 3" everyday since. Early this morning i checked ir and everything still good, when i went out 2 hours later a small crack had appeared where i cleaned the rot out. The hole turned out to be the size of my finger, so packed it wirh sulfur. I dont think anything got in there, is tgere anything i can do to help get her to seed maturity? DAM! 14 DAP and shes at 59" circumfrence!

from the lack of response can I assume that its hopeless? Someone better tell that damn squash out there- she tacked on 4" last night. Guess she likes sulfur with a greenhouse tape patch. Kinda cool, you can look in there while its growing.

Post a pic. If you aren't concerned with getting it to a weighoff, I think some folks have caulked them up to keep em going for awhile. Maybe they will post how they did it and what they used.

Strike that. he's rotting. I cried after weighing him, he was already over 100 pounds according to my bathroom scale. I'm dry the seeds I pulled that seemed...ready. When they are done I will get your address and send you some, there weren't many, maybe three dozen or so that looked like they may be sproutable. <-- that's not a word.
