My AG plants are putting on 4th and 5th leaves but they are twisted and mutant looking, some have yellow spots. is this a result from un-consistant watering? Will it grow out of it? Aslo how often should I use (Neptunes Harvest) fertilzer? Thank you- Joel Young

Without a picture it's hard to say, but it sounds like a virus.

too much nitrogen might be the cause. I had this problem last year. I only fertilize once a week. If you've been over using fertilizer; over water the plant for a few days and hopefully it will pull out of it. Mind did last year but it took awhile

No 2-4 D but I used Treflan 500 G its in granule, not liquid , but thats the same main ingredient in Preen. and also it has only been fertilized once. Is that my problem, not enough. Here's a video on my Google+

Is that field corn in the back ground? Has it been sprayed lately? 2-4-D Drifts very easily if it volatilizes when warm and humid. Treflan should not be applied before 3-5 leaves are shown

I couldn't see the picture but I have had what sounds like your problem happen when I have put insecticides maybe a little too heave on a growth tip. When it has happened to me it was limited to one or two vines and the rest of my plant looked fine.
