If there are multiple genes involved its possible that the exact odds will be 3/16... Which would be 4.3 squashes.. It will be fun to see... I'll remove myself from the contest since I didn't give an exact answer!!

Winner's are Ken D and Berggren!!! I will send you guys seeds at the end of the season!! Honorable mention to Little Ketchup who also calculated it correctly. Truth is any one who asks will be welcome to seeds. These seeds are for the betterment of the growing community and hopefully to ensure squash will be competitive with pumpkins. Or in the very least fairly close to pumpkins in genetic capability.
