Looks like a nutrient imbalance/ excess boron? Yeah there needs to be a prize pool for these sort of questions... Go out on a limb for nothing, lol.

if not mites then most likely from too much of a certain nutrient.

No, I am not certain what the issue is. Too much of something is possible as iv been fertilizing A good bit with ureamate. I had another expert question how much boron also. My last soil test in late July showed boron at 2.0 ppm. That's not too high imo. I only added 1 cup more on August 23rd thru my drip system, so it may be a tad higher.

I've had that before, and I'm not exactly sure what it is. Unlikely to be a nutrient issue - it seems concentrated in one location, at least when it starts.
