Yes, you can loosely judge. But it wont be an exact 1:1 relationship. In theory it might be a 1:1 relationship between size and sepals, but in practice it often isn't.
In other words, if you have a 14 in a better position and growing fast, and a 16 that looks like a bad shape or position or is sluggish, then you aren't going to hurt the outcome to go with the 14.
Nice tomato, try for 6 plus lbs! Of course sometimes they only do half what you wish they would do. But that's a competition winner if you can get it nice and fat.
