All rainy - no drainy. I had never seen such a huge
red/purple swirl on the local weather report(s)' maps;
Indeed, those poor people. eg

An interesting thought is that we cant get good drone footage of the wildfires because the air tankers and helicopters want all the airspace totally clear. Interesting that the atmosphere has shifted so much water over to your corner of the country.

Yes quite the view and poor owners scary situation with the powers of sudden floods. We lost 4 people swept away in their vehicles back in July 2023 with our floods just a few miles from our farm plus many swept away but survived miraculously! Everyone evacuated across from our farm except here because way back in the day late 1800s early 1900s, farmers built their homes, barns etc. on the high ground thankfully! Mother Nature can sure have some bad days unfortunately. Hope everyone is safe and be careful Henry.

Wow you were close! I am back home now unfortunately! I got back home at 1 AM last night but I may very well have to take a trip to your patch before the season is over!
