Hi all, I asked on chat tonight what the benefits are with growing in a tree pattern vs. available space (in my case around 20 x 25). I have heard that some take advantage of this method. Could someone clear this up for me before I go chop chop and blow up my fruit in the process. I currently have a 1st fruit growing at day 5 measuring 18" about 9' out on the 1153 Eaton. any suggestions?? Thanks, Deb:)

even the christmas tree will eventually fill your space. as the secondary vine reaches the perimeter you will terminate it there. your tree will become a 20X25 box. you don't shape it into a tree. that's just it's natural growing pattern.

Yep...If all we ever did was remove tertiary vines (vines growing on scondaries) then most plants will just "assume the position" on their own.
