...indicates that even with JUST Mycorrhizal inoculant, spring tap water and strong light at about 67 degrees, an AG seedling/plant can survive what are some VERY tough circumstances, lending GREAT recognition to Mycorrhizae for its ability to support it or them through thick and thin. I will next be adding probably 24-8-16 Expert Gardener water-soluble fertilizer to this project. The roots were not all over the place nor seemingly-abundant...Myco does just what it needs to, apparently! eg

Well that's new. I wouldn't have thought to try that. Still, you should do a side by side experiment to see if the myco you are adding does benefit the plants in the field under field conditions? I should try something similar myself.

Yeah, guess I'm The Guy on this one, as I had hoped, perhaps. For anyone wondering, the clay-based carrier of Myco does not go away - it is similar to kitty litter. Hmmm, maybe clumping Myco is next? I'd be OK with that! eric g
