Hat's off to you! I say you're doing a mighty fine job with powerful plants. Looking great. Oh by the way back in 1994 I believe, a grower from Ontario Herman Bax grew the World's largest at 990 lbs! And a grower told me it was hard to believe considering the weeds in his patch? So all the best.

So true. So true. Not sure how people run so many plants. Some how they convince thier significant others to think kins are fun too. Many have older or no kids. That is a big one. My wife is not burying vines. Takes 1/2 the season to know what I am growing. Only so many hours in a day, years in a life, do what you love. Your plant looks amazing.

Thanks guys. This hobby was probably a poor choice for a part time farmer, the pumpkins need attention at the same time as the crops. Someday I'll have a perfect weed free patch. For now I'm focused on plant health and nutrition and hopefully will get a pumpkin to the scale this fall.

Also beside growers who have full time jobs another frustrating challenge would be when they are off or on the weekends...weather sucks wet and windy! Unless of course they have a big greenhouse. But at the end of the day, regardless all growers endure challenges some form or another.
