2287 Sadiq ’22 Almost Out of Space
This image shows the new portion of the plant that indicates it has just about completely filled the 32ft wide x 40ft. hoop house area. At this point in the season the pumpkin is about 24 days old which is “prefect” timing as the goal is to run the CO2 enrichment system (more details and questions answered to come on this topic in future posts) from transplant until the pumpkin is about 20-30 days old which should correlate to the plant filling the area.
Overall, it looks like the observed conditions are meeting the predicted conditions. With the early pollination this could have caused a disruption, but even though the pollination was early based on the date, it was still 20ft. out so this allowed the overall pattern to stay on track.
